According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol:

On May 20th 2019 at around 3:33 P.M. Deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a bicyclist on Center Street near the intersection of Charles Street in the Town of Verona. Nicholas Anderalli (48) of Sherrill was operating a 2013 Sierra Pickup truck Eastbound on Center street when he collided with a 12 year old male operating on bicycle Eastbound on Center street. After an investigation, Deputies determined Nicholas merged into the left lane attempting to give the bicyclist room to travel. The bicyclist then veered into the left lane colliding with the front of the pickup. The bicyclist was transported to SUNY Upstate Medical Hospital by Vineall Ambulance with non life threatening injuries. No traffic tickets were issued at this time.

Members of the Vineall Ambulance, Durhamville Fire Department and the New York State Troopers assisted on scene.
