According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol; On July 10th, 2019 at approximately 2:36AM Deputies responded to State Route 233 in the Town of Westmoreland for a single car motor vehicle accident resulting in a minor injury.

An investigation revealed that Raymond Barron, 20 of Westmoreland was driving his 2008 GMC Sierra northbound on State Route 233 when he failed to keep right and crossed over into the southbound lane. Barron left the western shoulder of the roadway and struck a utility pole before coming to rest.

Barron was transported by Cocvac Ambulance to St. Elizabeth's Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Westmoreland Volunteer Fire Department and Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

Barron was issued traffic summons returnable to the Town of Westmoreland Court and is to appear at a later date and time.
