According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on September 12, 2019 Deputies at the Oneida County Office Building discovered that Jessica Schaffer (41) of Utica who was in the building at the time had an open warrant for her arrest from a previous incident. Upon taking her into custody she was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Jessica was taken into custody on the warrant and additional charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree (misdemeanor) and Possession of a Controlled Substance not in its Original Container (violation) as she was found to be in possession of narcotics. She was remanded to the Oneida County Jail to await Central Arraignment Court.
