According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol, on Saturday, October 5, 2019 one man was arrested following a domestic dispute in the Town of Annville.

On October 5, 2019 at approximately 8:30 PM, George R. Wood, age 46, of Annsville, NY was involved in a domestic incident while at a residence in the Town of Annsville. At some point during the domestic incident, the situation escalated into a physical confrontation and verbal threats of physical harm were made. Woods left the residence in Annsville and was later located at an address in the City of Rome. Woods was subsequently arrested and brought to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office where he was booked and charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, a Class A Misdemeanor and Harassment in the 2nd degree, a Violation. Woods was then brought to the Oneida County Correctional Facility and held pending an arraignment in Oneida County CAP Court.

Deputies were assisted by members from the New York State Police and Rome Police Department.
