According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, on Sunday October 13, 2019 at approximately 10:00 A.M. Sheriff Deputies, along with the New York Mills School District Administration, investigated a possible threat posted on a SnapChat account of a juvenile student who longer attends the school. The investigation determined the threat was not credible and at no time were students or other school officials in danger. No charges will be filed at this time regarding this incident.
