According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, one man was arrested following a domestic dispute on Williams Road in the City of Rome.

On January 21, 2020 at approximately 810 am, deputies were dispatched to Williams Road in the City of Rome for a domestic incident. During their investigation, they found Brian Platt, 29 of Rome to be in violation of 4 different orders of protection. Platt was subsequently arrested and remanded to Oneida County Jail where he awaits centralized arraignment. In addition to the order of protection violations, Platt was charged with harassment, criminal obstruction of breathing and multiple counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
