According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Camden man was arrested on a charge of Arson after an investigation into a vehicle fire in the Village of Camden on July 23,2020.

Taylor B. Sharron, age 24, was arrested after a vehicle fire was reported in the public parking lot behind Main St. in Camden. Sharron was located at his residence a short time later and was taken into custody. He was charged with one count of Arson in the 3rd degree, a class C felony and held at the Oneida County Jail pending arraignment.

The sheriff’s office is also currently investigating several other vehicle fires that were found to have occurred in the Village of Camden in the early morning hours of July 22, 2020.
