According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, Two people were injured following a One car Motor Vehicle Accident in the Town of Trenton.

On July 23, 2020, at approximately 12:41 p.m., Samantha N. Griggs (23) of New City, New York, was traveling South on State Route 12, when her vehicle hydroplaned and lost control, due to weather conditions. After Samanthas' vehicle lost control, it traveled to the right shoulder of the roadway, where it struck an embankment and came to a stop. Samantha and her passenger, Andrew C. Giardino (24) of New City, New York, were transported to St. Luke's Hospital by Star Ambulance, to be evaluated for apparent minor injuries. No citations were issued.

Deputies were assisted on scene by members of the New York State Police, Barneveld Fire Department and Star Ambulance.
