According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol, on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at approximately 8:00PM, a Deputy conducted a traffic stop on W. Main Street in the Town of Westmoreland. Through their investigation, deputies determined the operator, Thad M. Paulson age 41, of Westmoreland, and the passenger, Morgan M. Jacobs, age 29, also of Westmoreland, were both Fugitives from Justice out of the State of New Mexico for the charge of Assault with a deadly weapon along with multiple other charges. Paulson and Jacobs were transported to the Oneida County Correctional Facility, where they will await extradition at a later date. Deputies were assisted with their investigation by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Warrants Unit.
