According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on December 11, 2020 at about 12:00pm , Sheriff Deputies along with the New York State Police responded to an address on Rt. 13 in the Town of Camden for a reported physical domestic. Investigation into the domestic revealed that a juvenile, age 16, had threatened the victim, Steven Allen, age 21 of Camden with a Knife. On scene, the juvenile was issued an appearance ticket for Menacing in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor. The juvenile is to appear at Juvenile Probation at a later date and time. While conducting the investigation into the domestic, the juvenile’s mother, Laurie Bryson, age 44 of Camden, pushed the investigating Deputy and physically obstructed in the investigation. Bryson was taken into custody and transported to the Sheriff’s Office Camden Field Office. Bryson was charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor and Harassment in the second degree, a violation. Due to New York State Bail Reform Laws, Bryson was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Camden Court at a late date and time and was then released.
