Today, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office joined The Oneida County Health Department NY at the Deerfield Volunteer Fire Company for a Child Safety Seat Checkpoint in conjunction with Child Passenger Safety Week. While performing these checks the Sheriff's Office has the opportunity to provide education and training on how to properly install a car seat.

At today's event 20 new car seats were installed, and 6 seats received safety checks.
