According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Blossvale man was arrested for damaging a motor vehicle. On September 15, 2021, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Unit responded to the vicinity of 7295 State Route 233 in the Town of Westmoreland for reports of a road rage incident. Upon arrival, it was learned that a disagreement between two individuals occurred near the intersection of Lamphear Road and State Route 233 in the City of Rome. After the disagreement, both vehicles continued south bound on State Route 233 into the Town of Westmoreland. When both vehicle were stopped at the intersection of State Route 233 and West Main Street, one of the individuals exited his vehicle and threw an unknown object at the other vehicle causing damage to a rear window. The case was then turned over to the Criminal Investigation Unit where a suspect was identified. On September 24, 2021, the Criminal Investigation Unit arrested Michael Pritchard, age 23, for Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, an E Felony. Pritchard was processed at the Law Enforcement Building and released on an appearance ticket returnable to Westmoreland Town Court at a later date.
