According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol, deputies responded to an address on West South Street in Westmoreland for a domestic dispute on December 27th around 6 PM.

The suspect, Crawford Lewis, 87 of Westmoreland was arrested for menacing 2nd, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th both misdemeanors along with two felony charges of Unlawful Imprisonment First, a class E Felony and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd a class C Felony.

During the incident, Lewis allegedly restrained his girlfriend and threatened to shoot her with a handgun. The Criminal Investigations Unit and the Identification Unit were called in to assist.

Lewis was arraigned and committed to Oneida County Jail on $20,000 cash bail and $40,000 bond. An order of protection will be issued on behalf of the victim.
